The home I want
A few months ago I looked at a house that I really really loved!! Today, I found the floorplan for it online. YAY!! I now have the image to share with all of you. Of course, we're still getting this house ready to sell and we may not even get this house. There's another one I really like as well but I don't have the floorplan for it. So.... here it is!! :) (And it's in our price range.)
The wall in the kitchen is only a half wall (at least in the one we looked at) so the dining room, great room, breakfast nook, and kitchen are all just one big room. Isn't that awesome? It would be so open!!! *sigh* I love this house!!!

Was this house at Powderhouse Landing? If it was, we liked this floorplan as well! Although I think we preferred the first house more (with all the bedrooms upstairs).

It was!! I liked the first one too but that one was out of our price range. ;)
For some reason we're hesitant about having the kids rooms at the front of the house. We've always wanted all the bedrooms upstairs or have the parent's room at the front. I did love how open that floor plan was compared to the first house though. But I imagined turning that formal diningroom in the first house into a playroom instead. Just close the doors and forget about the mess :D
NO kidding! That would be nice, wouldn't it?
I had the same concerns about the bedrooms, especially with Collin's sleepwalking issues. ;)
