I am Pro Agency

Which profile picture are you using? I often get fussed at by people for being a fence-sitter. I've even been quoted Revelation 3:16, "So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."
Yeah, I couldn't believe they did that either. haha! I'm not a fence sitter, but they say I am because I don't declare my beliefs publicly on Facebook. Did you know that by not publicly stating your beliefs on social media it means you don't have any? Well, I do have an opinion. I'm southern. In the south, we were taught that you don't talk politics. It's rude and causes contention. However, now in the year 2015, I think politics is a hot topic and spoke more openly. Still, I have friends who are strong on both sides of the fence and I don't want to offend anyone. So, why don't I post my gay pride picture or my traditional couple picture as my profile picture? It's because my beliefs are not so black and white.

My beliefs are pro-agency. Yes, I believe families should be the traditional man and woman, however, if someone else chooses something else, that's fine with me. They have their agency and their choices are none of my business unless it directly affects me. Who they love and marry does not affect me. Are they happy? Awesome! So, I am glad this law was passed. I think everyone deserves to be with the one they love. I have never had feelings of homosexuality so I don't know what it's like. Therefore, I cannot judge. I will say that I have plenty of my own issues so why would I judge someone else on theirs? Does that help anything except stir up contention? I think not.

If you want to know my beliefs, just know they can't be summed up in one simple word. There is normally more going on in my head. But, please, do not start quoting scripture at me and declaring God wants to throw up on me. That's silly because God knows how I feel and I don't think he cares if I post it on Facebook or not. haha! It just makes me laugh everytime I think about it. Last time someone said this to me, they unfriended me and blocked me on Facebook. People are amusing. :)
